The contract of genealogical search
The contract signed between the client and the genealogist must be based on mutual confidence and collaboration.
Before any research in genealogy:
- A request for research
specifying the starting-point and the objective you wish to achieve. - A free estimate
specifying as fully as possible the object of the research.
If mutual agreement :
- A final estimate in duplicate
one of the copies should be returned accepted and signed with a deposit of 50 %.
Realization of the research :
- A final bound file including :
- a detailed report of the research
- a recapitulatory chart
- all the documents found (photocopies, photographs or literal transcriptions) - A detailed invoice

- Preparatory study and realization of final file included

- half-day rate ...................................... 110 €
- daily rate .......................................... 200 € - Reproduction expenses not included
- Photograph of act ............................. 0,50 €
- Photocopy of act ............................ real cost - For research outside the Var & the Bouches-du-Rhône, travelling expenses
and if necessary accomodation may be added
- Travelling expenses .................... 0,30 €/km
- Accomodation ............................... real cost
